I’m a sentimental girl.
I’ve reached the stage in my photography career where I am just as likely to look back on how small a client was the first time I met as I am to dream forward to the day when they’ll look back on the images that I captured for them with their own warm and fuzzy feelings.
Take Hailey and her mom, Sarah, for example. My first session with them was in 2013. Then, it felt like Hailey’s primary goal was to not do anything we asked of her. She jumped, she twirled, she ran away… she had the time of her life, while I broke a sweat hoping to deliver an adequate gallery of images.
Every few years, the two return to me for a new set of images to document their beautiful relationship and Hailey’s seemingly unlimited growth. Here is a peek into their latest session.
And now, as I look back on all of the moments I’ve captured for them, all I can do is think about Hailey’s wedding day (which is YEAAAARRS away… years!) in anticipation of getting this nuzzly moment.
Oh, I have something in my eye!
