Michael played football and Erica was his cheerleader… these two were high school sweethearts and will become husband and wife next Spring. For their engagement session, they wanted to go back to the place where it all started — Midfield High School. We had lots of fun shooting in the cafeteria, where they used to innocently flirt; by the football field where they spent so many of their Friday nights; and then in the grass with their little dog, Remi, who is like their baby.
The next four shots are my absolute favorites from the session. I am obsessed with lines and cool perspective these days and the beams under the bleachers offered both! Along with the dark color and texture, the underside of the bleachers were a fitting backdrop for Erica and Michael’s urban/tribal-inspired look.
