The Buchanan family is one of my favorites! I was introduced to Brie and Ryan at a friend’s holiday party a year and a half ago and we hit it off immediately.  A few weeks later, I had the honor of shooting their daughter’s first birthday party and family portraits for the three last Summer.

Over the last year and a half, our friendships have continued to grow. I adore Brie and her special way of always saying what is on her (and usually my) mind, with little to no filter.. I enjoy the fear Ryan has that every pose I suggest is going to end up on an awkward family portrait website… and I absolutely LOVE little Brynn. She is so smart and full of personality. We tend to show up at our sessions with the exact same hair style, which is why I affectionately call her my “hair twin.” It has been amazing to watch her grow and change.

Naturally, I was excited to learn that this bunch would be welcoming another child in July.  I will be blogging those images in a few weeks. Until then, enjoy these images from their last session as a family of three.
