Ashley and Greg grew up in hometowns just thirty minutes from one another, but it wasn’t until they moved to Birmingham to attend UAB that they met. Ashley had noticed Greg around campus and stepped out of her comfort zone to flag him down, one day, when she saw him driving through her apartment complex.  She intended to introduce him to one of her friends (which she did,) but she was the one who ended up hitting it off with him.  They became Facebook friends, eventually exchanged numbers and started dating after a few months. Now, six years later, they are planning to marry in the city they both love, next Spring.
