Brittany and Cedric first met at UAB in 2003, but did not start dating until 2010 — after both had gone their own way and nearly 600 miles separated them.  Late one night, Cedric messaged Brittany on facebook, just to say hello, and the two ended up chatting for almost an hour. They decided to exchange numbers then, and realized that they each already had the other’s number. To this day, they still do not remember or know how that was the case…. Cedric promised to stay in touch, but Brittany had doubts about whether he would, so she sent the first text message. In that conversation, they decided they would get back together over Christmas break, when Brittany returned to Birmingham. Again, she wasn’t willing to wait for Cedric to take the first step, so she called him and invited him out. He did end up taking the lead on their first date, which consisted of the dollar movie theater and a slushes from Sonic.

They will marry this Fall in Tampa, Florida. We had a blast during their engagement session and I am already looking forward to their special day.
