They have known each other since they were kids, but Brittany and Willie did not start dating one another until High School. She was a cheerleader and he played football, which made them that cute athletic couple in their small town. This Summer, ten years after they first starting “talking” (code for dating back in the 90s,) they exchanged vows and became husband and wife in a beautiful ceremony at the Renaissance Hotel & Spa in Montgomery, Alabama.
Their wedding day included some early morning showers, which prevented us from taking any pictures outside before the ceremony. Fortunately, the hotel offered plenty of gorgeous light and lots of yellow and blue decor, which just happened to be Brittany and Willie’s wedding colors.
The First Look
Immediately following the ceremony, guests headed across the street to Alley Station for the reception. Like the ceremony, the reception was GORGEOUS! White hydrangeas and yellow roses, paired with blue uplighting transformed the space and completed Brittany’s vision for her wedding day. The night was full of memories, a slideshow full of images from their childhood, stories and laughs, dancing (of course), and joy that will last for many years to come.
Thank you Brittany and Willie for trusting me with your day. I wish you all the happiness in the world! And as always, Emily Dean for Photography for second shooting with me!
