Nia + Thomas | Married

If you saw Nia and Thomas’s engagement pictures, or we are connected via Facebook, you already know how smitten I am with these two.   Nia’s vision for her wedding was a classic southern affair. She chose a muted color pallet of blush and flax, with accents of black to bring in a more formal element.  She threw around descriptors like “The Great Gatsby,” when she described the event to me… Of course, I was excited for the day to have finally arrived, so that I could capture her vision, as it became a beautiful reality.

As Nia prepared for the day, there was so much joy and genuine emotion. I especially loved her reaction to seeing herself in her dress for the first time! Oh, and those cute little flower girls, reading their books as the big girls got ready… adorable!!

This next picture is one of the best I have ever taken. You probably wouldn’t realize that the woman in black is Nia’s mom, because she is gorgeous and could easily pass for her sister.  To me, this single frame embodies not only their relationship, but the genuine happiness of mothers and daughters everywhere, on the daughter’s big day.

I LOVE the soft, clean, and sophisticated look of this wedding. It was completely priceless and timeless…yet classical. The blush pink tones fit perfectly with the scenery and the elegance of the black accents. Your photographical work for this wedding was exquisite. You made it seem sooo real…no photoshop needed. You really captured the moments and made us feel like we were there. Great Job!! I hope I get married soon..so you can shoot my wedding!!
