The day was warm, but not too hot; sunny with the amazing cloud coverage. All for all, it was the perfect day for one of the sweetest couples I have worked with, to wed. The couple lives in Dallas, but selected Steph’s hometown of Birmingham, Alabama to bring their family and friends together for the exchanging of their vows. It was an honor to capture the day.
Special thanks to Elizabeth-Ann of EAK Photography for second shooting with me, and capturing some of the beautiful images shown below.
Steph and Herschel are huge coffee fans. Needless to say, Starbucks was a necessity on the big day!
This wedding’s groomsmen were probably the most enthusiastic, best groomsmen that I’ve ever worked with. Herschel is from Texas and went to college in Minnesota, and so his friends certainly traveled the furthest to be a part of this day… and they were so excited to be there. All day, they had their camera phones out, capturing pictures and videos of Herschel.
Yes, Herschel really plays the saxophone and actually played during the Steph and her father’s dance together. Sweet, huh?
Steph and Herschel decide to see one another before their ceremony. I absolutely love when couples opt for a first look! The first look provided them an opportunity to share a special moment together, before getting back to the hustle and bustle of the day.
Ahhh… Steph. You’re gorgeous!
Hello George! Also known as the cutest ring bearer EVER!
