The first time Marlin met Mia, he told a friend that he thought he had just met his wife. Considering it was a Nashville Black Chamber of Commerce networking event that ended with the expected exchange of business cards, that’s pretty serious. Mia loves to be around people who can make her laugh and in their brief conversation, Marlin was able to do just that and so, she was equally intrigued.

A few days later, she saw that he had viewed her LinkedIn profile (how many love stories start there?! )…so she sent a friend request. A few moments later, he had asked her out on a date.

This Fall, Mia and Marlin’s love story will take them and their closest family and friends to San Francisco City Hall, and I couldn’t be more excited to make that journey with them!
