Alicia and Kema met at Howard University in Washington, DC, before their first semester of Dental School began. They instantly became friends and eventually study partners. Soon, it became obvious to both of them that their relationship meant much more and that it had to continue on past their dental school days. Four years and two degrees later, Kema proposed to Alicia while on vacation in the Bahamas.

The two settled down in the Washington, DC area after dental school but traveled back to Alicia’s hometown of Birmingham, Alabama for their dream wedding. Their ceremony took place at Vulcan Park with the reception following at the new Grand Bohemian Mountain Brook. Using some of Birmingham’s best vendors, and with the assistance of her planner Jillian Smith of One Touch Events, their day was full of beautiful details and priceless memories.
