It was their mutual love for good food, good people, and good times that brought them together at a friend’s social event. Before they knew it, they were best friends and while Justin knew Chandra could be so much more, she treasured their friendship too much to complicate it with dating. He pursued her for months, until she finally agreed to hang out, as they always do, but with the title of “first date.” Soon, she was questioning why she had waiting so long to see him as more than a friend.

With a wedding party as silly as them by their sides, the two got married at Overton Square.  They wanted their guests to feel the energy of Midtown Memphis, where they fell in love.  Chandra chose a soft color palette of light pinks and creams, with a touch of sparkle, to create a romantic feel. The guys wore grey suits and Chuck Taylors to add a little urban touch.

It was a beautiful day, full of funny faces, selfies, and memories they will hold dear for the rest of their lives.

Meanwhile…. the wedding party kept themselves entertained.

Chandra and Justin wanted to incorporate as many Memphis vendors as possible into their day, including this signature popcorn bar from their Sweet Noshings. Which, was also one of the locations for their engagement session.

Entering their reception Memphis Grizzlies-style was an absolute, non-negotiable MUST (and lots of fun to watch!!)

One of the biggest moments of the day, came at the end of the night, when Justin surprised Chandra with a Mercedes as a wedding gift. She had no idea. Capturing her genuine surprise and humbling reaction was priceless.
