Feeling overwhelmed by the challenges of being a wife, a mother, and a business owner… of being the type of woman God called her to be, Karen Stott created the Pursuit 31 community for women feeling the same. Little did she know, that community would grow to almost 5,000 members in just a few short years. Somewhere along the way, I was added to the P31 facebook group and eventually presented with the opportunity to lead the Alabama small group. Being a part of the larger community, where the women are willing to answer questions, offer advice, and pray without limitation, is wonderful. But, being a part of a local small group, where friendships can grow over cups of coffee and pot luck dinners, is truly a blessing.
Last week, we got together for our second annual styled shoot (click here to see last year’s shoot.) This year’s shoot was inspired by the delicate intricacies of watercolors. Two beautiful high school seniors modeled for us, along with an adorable newly-wed couple. A number of vendors donated their time, talent, and goods to us to make the shoot happen. Be sure to check out the full listing of vendors at the end of the post! Without them, this shoot would not have been possible. Nor would it have been possible without my sweet friends Emma, Rachel, Crystal, and Emily, who helped plan and execute every aspect of the shoot.
