Valentine’s Day is one full of love and romance. This year, I spent the special day celebrating those sentiments with twelve couples at Vulcan Park and Museum. Each couple, while overlooking the city of Birmingham, surrounded by their closest family and friends, exchanged their vows and started their lives together.  Vulcan Park hosts the event each year, which provides a unique, stress-free opportunity for couples to marry or renew their vows. Vendors volunteer their services and all proceeds support Vulcan Park’s mission to preserve and promote Vulcan as the symbol for the Birmingham region, advance knowledge and understanding of Birmingham’s history and culture, and to encourage exploration of the region.
