As I am working to finish up the editing on my last wedding of 2013, I am excited about my first wedding of this year, which is now just 30 days away!!
So, I always begin my wedding consultations by trying to learn a little bit about the couple sitting in front of me.. how they met, how he proposed, etc. When I asked about how they met, they both sort of laughed and told me they had met at a “dinner club.” Already, I loved it. In an era where most of our daily interactions take place via social media, the idea of two singles meeting at a dinner club seems so classy… so old-fashioned. Over the next few months, thanks to their circuit of meals with friends, the two got to know one another, before going on their first official date.
We planned to begin their Fall engagement session at Morgan Creek Winery in Harpersville, where Lindsay admits that she “fell in like” with William at their annual Grape Stomp. It was my first visit to Morgan Creek, but I could not be more pleased with the images we were able to capture, amongst the rows of muscadines.
To wrap up their session, we headed to a park for a little flag football. William loves to play intramural sports and Lindsay has become his number one cheerleader!
