The night I met with Maralyn and Matthew, he was taking some business and running late.  I was excited to have some time alone with Maralyn, to hear their love story from her perspective. An admitted cryer, she told me the story of how they met, how he proposed, and of the bond Matthew has formed with her son, Ethan, with tears of joy in her eyes.

Ethan has been the “man” in Maralyn’s life for many years, so she and Matthew knew that their engagement story had to reflect the creation of their new family. As you’ll see for yourself, these three are a sweet and beautiful family. I feel so blessed to have captured the beginning of their story and look forward to photographing their June wedding.
