Fleur De Lis Wedding : Tommia + Kenric

When Kenric went on a mini facebook tirade, posting about all the things women expect when meeting a guy, he never anticipated a women he knew only through social media to read his status, jokingly congratulate him for being so in touch with women’s thoughts, and that she would eventually become his best friend and wife.  Whether or not his evaluation of women was correct, he seemed to have all of the qualities Tommia was looking for in a man. According to her, “it was a breath of fresh air to be in the company of someone who was so honest, respectful, witty, and sincere.”

Five years after that infamous post, Tommia and Kenric exchanged their vows in Mandeville, Louisiana at the Fleur De Lis Event Center.  Big thanks to Brittany Schlamp for spending the day with me as my second shooter!

This is probably my favorite Bride and Groom recessional shot of the year. Look at how happy and excited they both are!!

Tommia and Kenric’s reception was UGH-mazing! Shrimp and grits, gumbo, jambalya, frozen drinks, mardi gras beads, a second line.. everything you would expect from a true New Orleans affair!  It was so “them!”

Thank you two silly love birds for trusting me to be a part of  your day, to tell your story, and to be your “event capture artist.”  I cannot wait until we meet again!!
