Sara + Clifton | Engagement

These two! I kind of love them…

Sara called me a few years ago, when she was in charge of hiring a photographer to photograph her law school class’s composite photo. I don’t remember exactly why it didn’t work out, but after many telephone calls and emails on the subject–Sara apologized, thanked me for my time, and promised that she would keep me in mind for her future photography needs.  She kept her promise.

Over the years, she and I became friends/starting following one another on all of the various social media platforms and established a bit of an Internet bff-ship.  Naturally, I was excited when I received her email, letting me know that she was engaged and considering my services for her big day! And that was months ago.. even though her wedding isn’t until next November. I am always humbled when I am the first vendor my to-be brides call. In her case, Sara reached out before even settling on a date and venue.

One Skype meeting (and lots of giggles) later, it was settled that we had to work together!  Clifton compliments Sara’s sweet personality perfectly.  If their relationship contains as much laughter as our session, these two are going to have a long and happy marriage.

Alabama weather is about as unpredictable as it comes, especially during the Fall. Sara was such a trooper! I was bundled up in a pea coat, scarf, and gloves, while she totally rocked the outfits she picked out before the unexpected temperature drop. She is model material, for sure!

Heading to our second location, Sara saw some fallen leaves and mentioned that her mom would love a picture of her in them. So we pulled over and made it happen! Cute, huh?

One of the cutest couples I have ever shot and total naturals in front of the camera. I am looking forward to their Oxford, Mississippi wedding next Fall!
